Julia Ellegood Pfaff is the Operations Manager for INTO Mason and has been a part of Mason Nation since 2012. Julia has 20 years of management experience in government, non-profit, and higher education. From 2007-2009, she served on the faculty of the Australian College of Kuwait where she taught a variety of management and marketing subjects. Upon returning to the US, she taught Research Methods and American Cultures for the INTO Mason Undergraduate Pathway program. Julia is also an adjunct faculty member for the Schar School at George Mason University and a member of a multi-disciplinary project for the same school known as the Shadow Influence Project, headed up by Dr. Janine Wedel. Prior to joining the field of higher education, she served as the Executive Director of a national nonprofit and is a veteran of the US Army.

In her current role, Julia is part of INTO Mason’s senior leadership team where she ensures that students attending receive an outstanding educational experience. She has seen first-hand the number of talented students who flourish with the support of academic Pathway programs.

Julia earned her Master of Public Policy from George Mason’s School of Policy, Government and International Affairs where she focused on Governance, Public Diplomacy, and Energy Policy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Languages from the University of Delaware and speaks English, French and Spanish.
